Dr Hen Says Announces Joint Collaboration with UNICEF for World Mental Health Day 2022
10 October 2022 – Dr Hen Says (DHS) is proud to announce a joint collaboration with UNICEF in support of World Mental Health Day 2022. The #OnMyMind campaign starts with “one moment, one conversation, one question: What’s on your mind?” It focuses on tackling mental health stigma and invites influencers and role models to open up about their own experiences and inspire others to do the same. When people see others speak up and show vulnerability, they are more likely to behave in the same way.
“Mental illness is a public health emergency that requires urgent attention,” says Dr Hen. “We must not remain silent.”
Sharing a personal story on Instagram, the cartoon doctor shows that mental health challenges can happen to anyone, and encourages young people and their families to talk about them.
