Dr Hen “To the Metaverse & Beyond”

June 9, 2022 – Dr Hen opens the doors to the first health information space in the Metaverse – Hen.World Health Center! Situated in Decentraland (-62, 128), a 3D environment that is easily accessible on a laptop, Hen.World is a playful and immersive experience that uses gamification and entertainment to talk about health.

Hen.World is a continuation of the animated doctor’s successful mission on social media to raise awareness, fight stigma, and build communities around different health conditions. In honor of Pride Month and World Sickle Cell Day, gender dysphoria and sickle cell are among the topics that are featured. Other content includes STIs, autism, depression, and down syndrome. The interactive space has a floor dedicated to games as well as videos starring the Hen characters.

“I’ve been in your world for a while now,” says Dr Hen. “It’s time for you to explore Hen.World!”

For those who are looking for some quiet time and want to engage in meaningful conversations away from the public eye, head up to the Community Lounge on Level 4.
